Purina® Pro Club® Program Terms and Conditions

By submitting your information, you agree to receive marketing, promotional and transactional emails from Purina Canada, a division of Nestlé Canada Inc., in regard to your Purina Pro Club® membership. You can withdraw your consent at any time. By submitting your application, you agree to abide by the Purina Pro Club® Canada Membership Terms and Conditions:

Purina reserves the right to change Membership Conditions, alter or discontinue this program or anyone’s participation therein at any time in compliance with all applicable laws.


• You must be over 18 years old and live in Canada.
• There can only be one membership per household.
• Members must be a professional dog or cat breeder, handler or trainer.

To qualify as a breeder, you must have one (1) litter of puppies or one (1) litter of kittens per year. To be eligible as a professional handler or trainer, it is necessary to engage in these activities as a source of income. As a new or existing member, you may be requested to provide proof of eligibility at any given time.

• As a breeder, you must sell your puppies or kittens directly to new pet owners and not to pet stores or third-party brokers.
• Providing false information to gain Purina Pro Club® membership or any associated benefits, constitutes fraud and could be deemed a criminal violation under the Criminal Code (Canada).
• You must operate in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
• Purina, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate membership, or remove or disqualify PRO Points for any violation of Program Terms.

Humane Treatment

Member acknowledges and agrees that any and all facilities for the holding and training of animals are in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and directives of any nature relating to the housing, handling, nutrition, sanitation and humane treatment of all animals owned, leased or otherwise held, housed and/or trained by Member. Member, and its employees and/or representatives shall, at all times, observe the highest standards of humane care and treatment of such animals.

As part of our commitment to upholding the standards of our Membership Program, Purina reserves the right to request an inspection of kennel or cattery premises by designated representatives. These inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with our membership guidelines and any relevant federal, provincial, and municipal regulations governing breeding practices. By becoming a member of our Program, individuals agree to cooperate with and facilitate these inspections as required by Purina.

Public Ridicule

Purina reserves the right to terminate membership at its sole discretion, without any further obligation to Member, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to situations where Member, its employees and/or agents, or any person or entity associated with Member's membership, engage in conduct that may bring Purina into public disrespect, scandal, or ridicule, derogate from the public image of Purina, or reflect unfavorably upon Purina or any of its products or service.

Membership Requirements and Expiry of Pro Club Points

• You must agree to keep the details of Purina Pro Plan discounts offered to members strictly confidential. Failure to do so may result in termination of Membership.
• Your account will be closed after TWO (2) years of account inactivity, as defined by not earning any new PRO Points within that period. Your PRO points expire with the closure of your account.
• Purina® Pro Plan® food bought under the terms of Purina Pro Club® must be fed only to dogs and cats owned by the member and must not resold or provided to others.
• Members must use all Purina coupons in accordance with the Coupon Terms printed on the coupon.
• Members may submit receipts for rebate for Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets therapeutic food, and Pro Plan supplements sold at veterinary clinics. However, to be eligible for Pro Club your primary food fed must be Purina Pro Plan products sold at pet specialty, online retailers and local farm and feed retailers.
• Members are expected to treat all Pro Club staff with respect and dignity. Any form of disrespectful or abusive language or behavior towards staff members will not be tolerated. Members who fail to adhere to this policy will face termination of their membership.
• Members are required to be opted-in to communications Pro Club to receive important membership news. If you unsubscribe from Pro Club emails, it will be considered indication that you are no longer interested in membership. Your account will be closed and PRO Points removed.

PRO Point Accrual and Tracking

• Members earn PRO points by submitting valid receipts containing purchases of Purina Pro Plan products purchased at pet specialty, online retailers and local farm and feed retailers, or therapeutic Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets products sold at Veterinary Clinics (excludes the Essential Care line of products).
• Receipts submitted must be less than 1 year old – receipts older than 1 year will be rejected and no PRO points awarded.
• Receipts that the member has previously submitted to Pro Club either through the legacy mail-in rebates or online will be rejected with no PRO Points awarded.
• Members must make a reasonable effort not to submit receipts that they have submitted previously.
• No PRO Points will be awarded for submitted receipts where more than half (50%) of the total value was covered by coupons provided to the member by Purina, which will typically be shown as a “manufacturer coupon” on receipts.
• No PRO Points will be awarded for items on receipts that are being exchanged for a previous purchase.
• Please ensure that the submitted receipt includes the complete details, including the retailer’s name, date, Purina Pro Plan product, purchase price paid, and total amount paid.
• Kindly note that only receipts or invoices will be considered valid for submission and credit to your account. Barcodes will not be accepted as proof of purchase.
• It is important to emphasize that Pro Club cannot accept or provide credit for fraudulent receipts, invoices, or any other forms of proof of purchase.
• Receipt or invoice submissions may only be made using receipts or invoices from products purchased by the Pro Club Member.
• Torn, unidentifiable or unreadable receipts or invoices are not considered valid and will not be credited to your account.
• If you have been approved by Purina to do a mail-in rebate, it is recommended to do so by registered mail at Nestlé Purina Pet Care Pro Club Administrator, 2500 Royal Windsor Drive, Mississauga, ON L5J 1K8 or some other traceable delivery method to ensure proof of delivery verification. Purina will not provide reimbursement for lost submissions sent by non-registered mail. For mail-in rebates, you must provide both valid receipts and packaging barcodes.
• Purina reserves the right to share receipts submitted by members with retailers for validation of authenticity.
• PRO Points are non-transferable between members.

Purina Point Redemption and Rewards Information

• Purina Points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards. Merchandise is subject to availability.
• Purina reserves the right to change the rewards offered at any time, at its sole discretion, without notice.
• Each merchandise item has a stated annual limit per member, for example, but not limited to branded towels and coffee mugs.
• Please allow up 4-6 weeks for delivery.
• No shipments to the U.S. or international.
• No returns allowed.
• Any damaged or defective merchandise will be accepted for an exchange within 60 days of order receipt.,

Puppy/Kitten Starter Kits

• Eligibility for Puppy/Kitten Starter Kits is determined at the discretion of Purina Pro Club.
• Members must show recent proof of feeding Purina Pro Plan sold at pet specialty retailers, online and farm & feed stores as their primary brand fed to qualify for Starter Kits, based on account purchase history.
• While Purina Pro Plan Members may submit rebates for therapeutic Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets sold at vet clinics, members must also be feeding and have proof of purchase for Purina Pro Plan to qualify for Purina Pro Plan kits.
• Starter Kits contain coupons for free products. The breeder may take these coupons to retailers to buy products for the new pet owners or give them directly to the new pet owners for a free trial of product. One coupon per item may be used.
• Breeders may not use these coupons for feeding their own dogs or cats. Misuse of Starter Kit coupons will result in termination of the member account.
• No rebate will be given for product purchases paid for by the coupons from Puppy/Kitten kits.
• Members must return completed Puppy/Kitten Kit Sign Up Forms to be eligible for future kits.
